Founded in 2014, Big Mountain CPA is a full-service tax and accounting firm located in the beautiful Park City, Utah area. As a smaller practice, I strive to provide exceptional and individualized service, unlike many large CPA firms are able to offer. If you are happy, I'm happy, and I only work with folks that I truly enjoy getting to know and work with. I enjoy building lasting and healthy relationships with my clients.

Ashton Ferrin, MBA, CPA
Founder and Principal
I have enjoyed being in the tax and accounting services industry since 2007. I have worked in various accounting firms in the Salt Lake City and Park City Utah areas, before hanging out my own shingle and founding this firm. With the combination of my education and experience, I have become a well-renowned CPA and adviser for all things tax and accounting.

Apart from being a husband, father, active outdoorsman, and entrepreneur, I am a licensed CPA with a diverse background in public accounting. I have previously served as the president of the Mountain Chapter of the Utah Association of CPAs (UACPA) and am active in the local accounting community. Throughout my MBA education and professional career, I have managed multiple teams of people to achieve great success. I am very detail oriented and care about maintaining good, working relationships and do all I possibly can to get the job done right. I love to work hard in order to play hard; I work to live rather than live to work.

When not deep in tax and accounting work, I love to spend time with my family above all else. As the closest CPA in physical proximity to Big Mountain overlooking the Salt Lake valley (hence the name), I also enjoy living and working on an incredible ranch and fighting the good fight to balance the most important things in life.
